Zigloo Domestique
Zigloo Domestiqueis a completed prototype of a container home, built in Canada. This is a three bedroom dwelling with 180 square meters of living space. It took 8 20ft containers and 8 months of work to complete the project.
Barking Riverside Marketing Suite
Completed in 2008 by Urban Space Management, the pioneers of container shipping homes, this project combines an innovative design with functionality and eco-friendly approach: wind turbines, solar panels and even a biomass heater are all here.
Lafayette Street in New York
This project is still under development, though it is worth of displaying here, as it promises to be one of the brightest examples of shipping containers building technology. The project is developed by the same architects, who made Container City in London.
IC Green Residence
Green Inc has a couple of models of container buildings in its portfolio, including residential houses. Most of them feature green roof, radiant floor, and all glass/aluminum windows.
